Opening campaign for Leeds' new listening bar.
Holding Patterns opened in Leeds in November 2025. A new listening bar specialising in coffee, cocktails and curated music events, it was a much needed cultural space in the busy town centre. I helped the team with their launch campaign, preparing a social media calendar, a press campaign, building a new site and optimising the business for search engines.
After 6 weeks, we’d been featured in key publications and listings sites, hit 4k followers on socials and had rave reviews online. Customer numbers keep growing, and Holding Patterns has very much settled in Leeds.

Season launch campaign for classical ensemble.
Manchester Collective are an organisation and ensemble redefining classical music, touring from The White Hotel to the Southbank Centre. I supported the marketing team from Jan to Sept 2024, working on a range of projects, including their new season launch – the moment when the Collective announced their tours and collaborations for the year.
We worked with suppliers to coordinate a distinct visual identity for the season, artist photography for each show, a video trailer, press release and announcement campaign across site, socials and newsletter. We produced copy and content for all our digital channels, then packaged this for our partner venues. The launch spiked reach and engagement across the Collective’s channels, including Facebook reach by 80% and site views by 116%. Vitally, it featured new approaches to design and trailer production consistent with the Collective’s brand, and delivered a set of promo materials to use throughout 24/25.

Selling out a once-in-a-generation theatre show.
‘Nest’ was one of the key events in Leeds’ Year of Culture, giving young actors from across Yorkshire their first shot at theatre, performed in a part of Leeds that rarely sees performances of such scale. Working with LEEDS 2023, National Youth Theatre, the RSPB and a range of suppliers & creatives, I managed the campaign for the event, from trailer commissioning, to outdoor advertising, to influencer marketing.
The five-night, 1600 ticket run sold out before starting, which secured significant profit on sales, and made for one of the most special moments in the city’s Year of Culture.

Rebrand rollout and strategy for performance company.
As The Performance Ensemble entered a new development phase in 2024, they required a rebrand and new set of organisational strategies. Their fresh brand identity, designed by Split, required a roll out across channels, slongside a new marketing strategy to suit their touring model. I oversaw the rollout and composed the strategy, which involved packaging marketing materials and tactics for their touring show 'Sinfonia', enabling them and their partners to better promote each show. This new approach, with the new branded materials and storytelling content, was used for their latest tour in Barrow-in-Furness, which sold out it's first night.

Audience Development planning for slow fashion CIC.
The Future Fashion Fair CIC (FFF) are spearheading the movement to end fast fashion from their base in Manchester. Their events involve panel talks, swap shops, sustainable vendors and a powerful sense of consumer activism. I helped FFF create an audience development plan, which involved strategies for press, social media and content, as well as a set of data-driven customer profiles, that would allow them to engage the right demographic and psychographic groups for being successful. This helped them focus their marketing activity and refine their brand, earning them more traffic, more followers, and a 30% increase in event attendance.

Campaign and 'flashmob' for performance company.
Sinfonia is a unique show created by The Performance Ensemble, featuring a cast of older people, acting, dancing and storytelling. Ahead of their performance at Leeds Playhouse, I coordinated a promotional campaign that involved a ‘flashmob’ public dress rehearsal in the busy city centre location Kirkgate Market. The event earned coverage on BBC Look North and The Guardian, produced a new batch of video content and drove a follower increase for The Performance Ensemble.
